si comincia a lavorare...

Oggi ho iniziato a lavorare sul serio. Meeting con Valentina su ontology evaluation approaches. Un sacco di cose da leggere che sembrano interessanti. Spero che essere lontana dall'ufficio di Trento mi darà più tempo per studiare.

Mirko e Michela sono andati ad esplorare new brighton. Hanno visto un sacco di meduse spiagiate e hanno fatto un po' di belle foto (acc... mi son scordata il cavetto di collegamento laptop-macchina fotografica, ma vedrò di rimediare così posso postare un po' di foto). Il tempo va e viene... tipico di queste parti, e oggi era abbastanza freschetto.

La serata però è stata bellissima. Un tramonto sul mare fantastico che ci siamo goduti con una passeggiata dopo cena (qui il sole tramonta verso le dieci... ora che son le 11:15 il cielo ha ancora riflessi dorati) di cui spero di scaricare le foto presto. Serata che mi ha fatto passare il nervosismo che mi stava venedo ... forse ieri ho cantato vittoria troppo presto :)

Per cena polpette e un esperimento di mashed potatos che mirko ha divorato. Tutt* e tre abbiamo deciso che ci compreremo l'apposito attrezzo per farle pure in italia, in alternativa allo schiacciapatate.

Abbiamo scoperto di avere un vicino di casa sotto di noi un po' delicato... si è lamentato che mirko fa confusione. Cosa probabilmente vera, e amplificata dall'isolamento non proprio perfetto dei pavimenti, ma insomma.... speriamo che la cosa non degeneri, perchè non posso manco pretendere che si comporti sempre da adulto... bah, vedremo come va a finire.

Today, I've really started working. I had a meeting with Valentina on ontology evaluation and we have collected a lot of interesting stuff to read. I hope that this period far from trento will help me study new things.

Mirko and michela have been to new brighton. They have seen a lot of jelly fish on the beach and have taken nice pictures (I've forgot the cable to connect the camera to the PC but I'll try to solve the problem in the next few days). The weather is so so ... usual British weather. Today it was also rather cool.

The clouds disappeared at around 6pm and we had a nice evening with a fantastic sunset. We decided to walk on the beach and take some pictures and the walk made me feel more relaxed. I think i was a little too optimistic yesterday about feeling good :)

For dinner meatballs and mashed potatoes. Mirko loved both. We have decided to buy the potato "masher" and bring it to Italy.

Ah... the guy living next door (well below our flat) did complain that Mirko is too noisy. That may be true.... together with the fact that the flat does not seem to be properly insulated against noise, especially of the laminated floor, but i can't ask him not to move for the entire day... Let's hope we are able to solve the problem without too many troubles....
